  • • deflection rate: 40m : L/4200, 45m : L/3800, 50m : L/3700
  • • natural frequency: 40m : 3.140 Hz, 45m : 2.959 Hz, 50m : 2.703 Hz
  • • Minimization of surrounding damage caused by noise by reduction of noise when train is operated

  • Closure effect of girder’s external steel
    • •Prevention of girder’s buckling and torsion with concrete filling inside steel girder.
    • •Method that secures safety for bridge collapse when extreme load is applied, even if internal concrete at the bottom opening in the web has heavy cracks, external steel resist until yield stress
  • The increase of girder’s endurance period as external steel wraps internal concrete that it has excellent effects in concrete’s chloride diffusion and damage prevention for carbonation
  • Reduction on construction cost(30% reduction compared to steel) by reducing steels through excluding girder opening section’s stiffner and alternatively using concrete that has lower cost and support compressive stress by using steel and concrete composite for the compressive part.
  • SB Composite Girder’s manufacturing is simple due to the simplicity of structure of cross section and has high constructability as it is differentiated from other method of construction by choosing different placement method method(ground placement and air placement) depending on the construction site’s temporary condition
